4 June 2012 Traffic free 10km, 5km and kids fun run.
If you want to run faster or just improve your run technique contact Woking Run School. For adults and kids too. "It actually works!" Race Director Toby Jenkins is currently attending the school in Woking.
What:
The Clandon Park Run is renowned for its friendly races with something for everyone in the family. Whether you are a serious runner or this is your first time - come and experience the fantastic atmosphere.
10k cross-country run: The event starts at 11:00 with a 2km dash
across Merrow Park and Merrow Common before you reach the 6km loop around Clandon
Park. Run across fields, hurtle down single-tracks and around lakes, leap over bridges and
stiles and see parts of the estate not open to the public. This event is recommended for those over the age of 16. Early entry £14 until 30/3/2012 (then £16). 10k Sponsorship form
4k cross-country run: This course consists mostly of off-road grass and woodland tracks across Merrow Park and around Merrow Common.
It is suitable for adults and pupils Year 6 and above and starts at 11:07. Early entry £6.50 until 30/3/2012 (then £8). 4k Sponsorship form
Junior Run4Fun: Medal running races for all ages on the school field track; distances range from 80m to 1200m. Scootathon back by popular demand for Infants (Reception to Year 2) plus obstacle races and balance and throwing
challenges. Juniors (Years 3-6) have the option to try out a new sport (javelin, judo, boxing) or spectate as family and friends finish the 4k and 10k races. First events kick off at 10:40. Early entry £4 until 30/3/2012 (then £6). Infant Scoot Sponsorship form and Junior Fun Run Sponsorship form
Where:
The start / finish will be at George Abbot School, Woodruff Avenue, Guildford, GU1 1XX
All Junior Run4Fun activities take place on the school field.

Registration:
Collect your timing chip and race number on the day.
Parking:
There is free parking in the school car park and playgrounds, or on surrounding roads if you're late. Please park considerately.
Travel:
Guildford or London Road railway stations are both within easy reach. Then hop on the bus or take a taxi.
Baggage:
We offer a free key and bag drop service.
Course
The longer 10km loop starts and finishes on urban ground but the bulk of the course (between kilometres 2 and 8) is cross-country.
The 4km loop uses much of the same route as the 10km course but only has about 2km of cross-country.
Timing
Chip timing is provided by Emit UK
First Aid
The Red Cross will be standing by on the day itself.
Toilets
There are plenty of loos in the school.
Water
Water stations will be positioned at 1.5km, 5km and at the finish line
Refreshments
PTA provides snacks and hot and cold drinks for spectators and runners.
