The 2012 Hard as Snails 10k is a very special event starting and finishing in the Chantries on the famous Pilgrims' Way in Guildford, in September.
The event is in aid of Surrey Wildlife Trust. Surrey Wildlife Trust's vision is for a living landscape that is rich in wildlife and valued by all. You can find out more about the work of the Surrey Wildlife Trust and donate or become an annual member for just £27.00.
What:
This event is a 10km cross-country run on a single 10k loop. This epic course takes in the Pilgrims' Way over the North Downs in central Surrey. You'll encounter rolling hills, lofty summits and low off-road tracks weaving through the woodland.
You'll feel leaves crunching underfoot, the wind in your hair as you bound across beautiful countryside. This is an awesome venue for one of the finest cross-country events on the calendar. Enter early to avoid disappointment!

Please collect your race number and timing chip on the day. Nothing will be sent to you in the post.

There is a large football field with ample free parking.
Travel:
Guildford train station is a brisk 10-minute jog.
Baggage:
You can keep your bags in our van and car keys in our secure storage box.

The Hard as Snails course takes in hilly woodland tracks through pine forests and open paths across the fields of the North Downs.
